Who we are
Tampa Dock Builders is a dock construction and marine carpentry company based in Tampa, Florida. We design, build, and repair residential and commercial docks all around Tampa Bay — from the canals of Apollo Beach to the barrier islands of Pinellas County and the riverfronts of Manatee County.
We are a working trade company, not a sales operation. When you call, you talk to people who build docks. When we visit your property, we bring a tape measure and an honest opinion, not a pitch deck.
How we work
First, we look before we quote. Every project starts with an on-site visit where we walk the shoreline, check water depth and bottom conditions, look at your seawall if you have one, and listen to what you want. Then we put a written estimate in your hands — free, with no obligation.
Second, we build for this water. Tampa Bay means saltwater, marine borers, summer storms, and big tidal swings. We use marine-rated materials, proper fasteners, and piling depths matched to your bottom — because a dock that isn't built for saltwater is just a future repair bill.
Third, we clean up and stand behind it. We leave your property the way we found it, and if something isn't right, you call us and we make it right.
What we won't do
We won't quote a job sight unseen and hope the numbers work out. We won't use interior-grade materials on saltwater and call it marine construction. We won't tell you a dock needs full replacement when a solid repair would do. And we won't disappear after the check clears — our number stays the same and we still answer it.
