The river's north shore, unpretentious and fishy
Palmetto faces Bradenton across the Manatee River with a character all its own — historic neighborhoods, working waterfront roots, and a serious fishing culture. The docks here are working docks: places to tie the boat, clean the catch, and get on the water fast. Nobody's building a showpiece; they're building something that works every day.
The north shore riverfront has long stretches of older homes with deep water access — some of the most practical waterfront on the river. Current runs along this shore, so dock design accounts for it. And the fishing is genuinely good: the river's north side has mangrove shorelines, creek mouths, and flats that hold fish year-round.
Practical builds and straight repairs
Our Palmetto work leans toward the practical: solid boat docks with lifts, fishing piers with cleaning stations, and repairs that extend the life of older structures. We do a lot of restoration here — redecking, re-piling, and bringing tired docks back to solid — because the bones of many Palmetto docks are good even when the surface is worn.
If you're on the river, we'll talk current and scour honestly. If you're on one of the creeks or canals off the river, we'll talk depth at low tide. Either way you get a dock designed for your actual water, a written estimate, and no sales pressure.
